What are the differences between the original OneService Chatbot and Tell Us @ OneService?
Tell Us @ OneService is built on an entirely new engine that allows feedback providers to submit cases (i) in English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil, and (ii) using voice memos. The original OneService Chatbot only allows users to communicate with it in English text.
I conversed with the Tell Us @ OneService chatbot using a voice memo but it responded in text. Can the chatbot respond back to me in a voice memo?
No, the chatbot does not have the capability to respond back to users using voice memos. However, if your device has built-in text-to-speech features, you can use those features to read out the textual responses from the chatbot.
Why is Tell Us @ OneService a ‘beta’?
The product is still in development, and we are constantly making
improvements based on user feedback. Tell Us @ OneService is also a Generative AI product and might make mistakes when responding to users.
How long is the beta trial period?
We started the beta phase on 1 Jul 2026, and will run it for a few months to get sufficient feedback to improve the product.
Troubleshooting
Why is the Tell Us @ OneService chatbot replying to me in another language?
You can converse with the chatbot in a language of your choice (English, Mandarin, Malay or Tamil). The chatbot will then reply to you based on the language you are using.
However, as this is a beta product, the chatbot may not correctly detect the language that you used. If this happens, you can submit a bug report at https://go.gov.sg/oschatbot-beta-bug-report.
The Tell Us @ OneService chatbot is not responding to my inputs, what can I do?
For the best experience, we encourage you to send one message at a time and wait for the chatbot to reply. If the chatbot has not replied to your last message after 1 minute, you can reset the conversation by typing “/reset” to reset your conversation with the chatbot.
