Pigeon Management Plan

From July 2024 to March 2025, the National Parks Board (NParks), together with the National Environment Agency, Singapore Food Agency, and three Town Councils (Ang Mo Kio, Bishan-Toa Payoh, and Tanjong Pagar), implemented a pilot pigeon management action plan. The pilot focused on population management, public education, and community stewardship. NParks collaborated with the Town Councils to reduce pigeon populations to manageable levels. Engagement sessions with Grassroots Leaders and the "Our Avian Neighbours Initiative" with Active Ageing Committees ensured community support and understanding of the efforts.
