Helen Woo Siew Bee, Tampines Town Council

Helen is one of Tampines Town Council’s call agents under the internal Operation Command Centre. She had originally been trained to manage the Integrated Estates Management System but over the years, Helen has gamely taken it upon herself to upskill and adapt to changing roles. A member of the Merdeka generation, she is a role model for other elderly staff. Today, Helen deftly mans the phone line to handle incoming calls from residents professionally, and arranges bulky item removal services for residents and the deployment of MSO cases received from OneService App.

Helen is from the Merdeka Generation and takes pride and ownership in her daily roles and responsibilities. She possesses initiative and is always eager to pick up new skills that can add value to the town council and improve her services to residents.

Apart from being an organised and responsive employee, Helen exemplifies excellent communication skills and goes above and beyond to ensure that residents’ requests are being addressed in a timely manner.
