Road Repurposing Projects (Yung Sheng Road and Choa Chu Kang Terrace)

The Road Repurposing Projects at Yung Sheng Road and Choa Chu Kang Terrace, led by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) in collaboration with multiple agencies, aimed to improve safety and comfort for pedestrians. 

  • At Yung Sheng Road, an 18-metre section was pedestrianised with a covered linkway, enhancing accessibility between Taman Jurong Shopping Centre and Taman Jurong Market. 

  • At Choa Chu Kang Terrace, an 80-metre stretch was converted into a pedestrian zone to improve access to amenities like Sunshine Place, incorporating greenery and additional community space for a more vibrant environment.
