OneService Everyday Heroes Award

Background on the OneService Everyday Heroes Award

The Municipal Services Office (MSO) launched the new OneService Everyday Heroes Award in April 2026.

The award recognises members of the public who demonstrate public spiritedness through actions that reflect shared ownership and care for our living environment.

The award underscores how residents can make a positive difference in their community and contribute to building Singapore into a “We First” society.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who qualifies for this award?

The award recognises members of the public who:

  • Provide constructive feedback and work with the authorities to improve infrastructure, address neighbourhood issues, or reduce safety risks; or
  • Carry out acts of municipal service that demonstrate shared responsibility for the neighbourhood and living environment.

Examples include individuals who actively influence and educate others on considerate behaviours in the neighbourhood, such as refraining from feeding birds and keeping corridors clutter-free.

2. Can members of the public nominate someone for the award?

No, there is no public call for nominations. The MSO will identify potential recipients through various channels, including referrals from OneService partner agencies and Town Councils, media platforms, and resident-led projects supported by the MSO.
